Terms of Service

Rules for accessing and using the SOMOS software platform.

Effective date: October 26, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to SOMOS websites and software products, including Booker, Solo, and Projects (the “Services”). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Services on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.

1. Service description

SOMOS is subscription software that helps businesses manage appointments, schedules, contacts, customer communications, projects, estimates, invoices, and related operations. Features and availability depend on the selected plan and may evolve. SOMOS is not the provider of services delivered by its business subscribers to their own customers.

2. Accounts and authorized users

You must provide accurate information, maintain the confidentiality of credentials, and ensure that each authorized user follows these Terms. You are responsible for your account activity, permissions, and information entered into the Services. Notify support promptly of suspected unauthorized access.

3. Subscriptions, charges, and renewals

Paid plans, seat charges, add-ons, and any available trials are described at checkout or in the applicable order. Subscription payments are generally billed in advance on the recurring schedule disclosed when you subscribe. Unless canceled, recurring subscriptions renew according to that disclosed schedule. Any applicable taxes and payment processing fees will be shown when required.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel a paid SOMOS subscription through available account billing controls or by contacting support@usesomos.com. Cancellation stops future renewals once processed; access to paid features generally continues through the current paid billing period unless otherwise stated at purchase or required by law. Subscription fees already paid are generally nonrefundable, except where required by law or expressly agreed by SOMOS. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us so we can review it. This policy covers SOMOS software subscription charges, not appointment deposits or other payments that a customer makes directly to an independent business using SOMOS.

5. Payments between businesses and their customers

SOMOS may offer tools for business subscribers to request and accept payments through third-party processors. The business subscriber—not SOMOS—is generally responsible for delivering its goods or services and establishing its own pricing, cancellation, deposit, and refund policies. Payment processing may be subject to the processor’s separate agreements and verification requirements.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the Services for unlawful activity, fraud, harassment, unauthorized data access, security testing without permission, malware, spam, or infringement of others’ rights. Do not attempt to circumvent account permissions, subscription limits, or payment controls.

7. Data and privacy

You retain responsibility for content and customer records you input and must have a lawful basis to collect and use that data. You grant SOMOS the limited permission needed to host, process, transmit, and display it to provide the Services. See the Privacy Policy for more information.

8. Third-party services

Features may rely on payment, calendar, authentication, infrastructure, and communication providers. Their outages, restrictions, or separate terms may affect functionality. SOMOS does not guarantee uninterrupted access to third-party services.

9. Service changes and suspension

We may maintain, modify, or discontinue features and suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, illegal activity, nonpayment, or serious violations of these Terms. We will provide notice when reasonably possible and required by law.

10. Intellectual property

SOMOS and associated software, branding, and materials are owned by their respective rights holders. Your subscription grants a limited, nonexclusive right to use the Services while your account is authorized and complies with these Terms.

11. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an “as available” basis without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. SOMOS is a business-management tool and does not provide legal, tax, or professional advice. Nothing in these Terms excludes liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits statutory consumer rights.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms and will post a revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated when required. Questions, billing concerns, and cancellation requests: support@usesomos.com or SOMOS Support.
